Winifred Alobo-Agogo is the Ethics Officer of the Country Coordinating Mechanism of the Global Fund in Nigeria. She is a Lawyer by profession an appointed notary public and mediator who holds a Masters degree in Restorative Justice from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. Her life and professional experiences in Nigeria and the United Kingdom have exposed her to Community development, Advocacy, Project Management, Communication strategy, Gender mainstreaming, teaching and mentoring.

She worked with a social campaign group in England, Operation Black Vote (OBV) to develop strategies for inclusiveness that will directly improve the experiences of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups living in the West Midlands.

Winifred is passionate about issues affecting women, children and vulnerable adults. Her pro bono legal work has largely comprised Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH). She is a member of the Global GBV Area of Responsibility (AoR) Community of Practice and currently offers her range of expertise to SMEs, INGOs, Private and Public sector clients. She is the author of Strokes, a brilliantly written fiction novel set in Sub-Saharan Africa through different political eras and told through relatable characters who captivate and entertain the reader.
